KILTER

Twelve marks, none of them square

We draw the angle first.
Then we argue about it.

01 — Identity

Ravel & Co

A wordmark that leans four degrees. Nobody has asked us to straighten it.

Monitor on a desk Screen mock-up, project two

02 — Product

Halden Freight

Nine screens, one grid, and a colour that only works at night.

Printing press Screen mock-up, project three

03 — Editorial

Quarter Press

Two hundred pages set in one weight. The restraint was the brief.

04 — Motion

Ostro Labs

Forty seconds that explain a thing we still do not fully understand.

Metal type Screen mock-up, project five

05 — Packaging

Fen & Marrow

The box opens the wrong way on purpose, and it has never been returned.

06 — Web

Slate Union

One page, no menu, and a scroll that finishes when the story does.

We are eleven people and one very old plotter.

What we do

Identity, product, editorial, motion. In that order, most years.

How we start

A week of drawing before a single file is named. It is not efficient and we keep doing it.

Who we are not

An agency. There is no account team, and you will speak to whoever drew the thing.
